Halloween

Halloween Parade

After School, I was impressed how well their faces still looked. Apparently the both picked a lunch they could eat with out messing up their make up. They are adorable monsters :)

Actual Halloween day, we changed Tristan's face up a bit.

I loved the way the red eyes made him that much creepier.

Summer Vacation 2009

I have been bad and have slacked on keeping up on my blog. So I will try to catch up. We went on vacation to California in June and here are our adventures.

On our way to California we stopped in Vegas at the Rio for lunch. Kids both loved it especially the deserts!

First day we spent at the San Diego Zoo.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, How will my garden grow?

I never thought I would be saying this ( I am sure my mom would agree) but I am so excited to grow vegetables! This is our first year of trying to grow a garden. I say trying because both Don and I are expecting to kill the whole garden. Needless to say neither of us are too much of a green thumb (especially me). So we are calling this our "trial" garden. Hopefully in a couple of months we will be enjoying delicious garden salsa, not pulling out the dead carcasses.

Tristan's Weekend of Birthday Fun

We took Tristan and two of his friends to Boondocks for his 11th birthday. (Yikes 11)
They spent an hour waiting in line for the Go Carts. Needless to say they only rode them once.

The Go Boats weren't as long to wait for but it wasn't warm enough to stay there too long.
I think this is how Ethan probably felt the whole week end :(
Five Guys! Yummy

Sunday the Family came over for some home made Cafe Rio and some wicked badminton playing. This seemed a little unfair somehow for Ethan.

Even Dexter got in the action. Or should I stay stole the action.

Everyone pitched in and got him a tent, sleeping bag, lantern and fun campfire goodies. It was a great gift. He even used it the next weekend in the rain. He must be a true camper.

On Monday, the last present he got (on his actual birthday) was a ripstick. I don't know about you but I think he liked it.
